A Discussion on Levinas by Dr. Jeffrey Bloechl

Jeffrey Bloechl is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Boston College and Honorary Professor of Philosophy at the Australian Catholic University. His teaching and research concentrate on contemporary European thought (mainly phenomenology and psychoanalysis), Christian theology and Christian philosophy. He is founding series editor of Levinas Studies. An Annual Review and Thresholds in Philosophy and Theology.  Longstanding interests include the hermeneutics of Christianity, the anthropology of suffering, and special problems in the phenomenology of religious practice.

On April 26, Dr. Bloechl will join us in Zagreb to lecture on Levinas in conjunction with the Balkans Semester for the Study of War and Peace. This lecture is open to the public.
